Power arm, not the Cubs catcher: Andrew Ayers needs clearer St. Bonaventure context
I can’t reliably profile St. Bonaventure LHP Andrew Ayers from the available result, because the only search hit is for a different player named Ayers—a Chicago Cubs catching prospect who is producing a breakout power season in the minors, with a .304/.417/.591 line, 16 homers, and a 15.1% walk rate at Double-A in 2026.[1] If you meant the Bonnies left-hander, I’d want a roster page, game logs, or scouting notes to assess his current performance, strengths, and team fit without guessing.
