Drake’s Allison Burchill brought toughness, rebounding, and veteran guard-forward versatility
Allison Burchill was a dependable, physical presence for Drake, showing up in the box score as a rebounder and complement piece in key conference games, including a nine-rebound effort in a win over Dayton and eight boards against Southern Illinois in the 2003-04 season. Her differentiator was versatility: as a guard/forward, she could help on the glass, defend multiple spots, and do the gritty work that doesn’t always drive headlines. For a team needing an energetic, low-drama role player with proven toughness, she fits the mold.
