Lauren Huber brings veteran frontcourt grit to Iona
Lauren Huber’s profile is that of a steady, experienced post presence: in the 2006-07 season at Iona, she appeared in 26 games and averaged 2.2 points and 2.0 rebounds, with Iona describing her as one of the team’s first options off the bench at the post spot[1]. The appeal is less flashy stats, more reliable role-player value—size, frontcourt depth, and the kind of game-readiness coaches trust when they need physicality and low-drama minutes. If your team wants a durable, team-first center who can stabilize the paint, she fits the mold[1][3].
