Rushaun Tongue brings steady, versatile secondary play to Wake Forest
Tongue looks like a reliable **safety/DB with upside**, coming off a 2024 season in which he played all 12 games and posted a career-high 35 tackles, including 25 solo stops, while Wake Forest’s staff has praised the defense’s improving chemistry and his steady energy. He’s not just a stat-line player: at 6-foot-1, he has the size for the position, has shown playmaking flashes such as an interception against Duke, and appears to be a consistent, coachable piece rather than a splashy one-year spike.
