Penn DL Jack Plank: Experienced Ivy League defender with early-career starting reps
Jack Plank is an experienced Penn defensive lineman who earned starts early in the 2023 season, which signals trust from the coaching staff and the ability to handle real-game snaps in a competitive Ivy League front. His value is less about flashy stat totals and more about being a sturdy, proven rotational piece who has already shown he can step into the lineup when needed. For a team, that makes him interesting as a reliable, assignment-driven DL with a baseline of game experience rather than a pure upside gamble.
