Wolfgang Raffety brought size, spacing, and veteran poise to Pacific’s frontcourt
In the 2006 season, Wolfgang Raffety — a 6-8 forward/center from Placerville, Calif. — was valued at Pacific for being an outstanding outside shooter who could stretch the floor from the post, and he even hit a late three to keep the Tigers alive in a tight game. He averaged 2.1 points and 1.3 rebounds in 26 games during his first year with Pacific, then added a stronger scoring/spacing profile the next season, making him more of a matchup piece than a traditional bruiser. If you want a big who can create space and add savvy, he fits; if you need rim protection and volume rebounding, he’s not that guy.
