Nick Kron brings Big 12 size and disruptive edge-setting upside
Nick Kron was a 6-foot-2, 240-245-pound defensive end for Iowa State, with career production that included 19 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two fumble recoveries, showing he could contribute as a physical, assignment-disciplined edge defender.[2][3] His fit profile is that of a strong-side DE who can hold the point and flash some disruption rather than a pure speed-rush specialist.[2][3] One important off-field note: later reporting shows Kron’s name became associated with a legal case after his playing career, so teams would need to weigh background and character context carefully.[5][6]
