Malachi Mills brings prototype tackle size and early-commit upside to Kansas
Mills enters Kansas in the 2026 season as a 6-foot-5, 305-pound freshman offensive lineman from Westfield HS, where he earned a 3-star rating and was regarded as one of Indiana’s top tackles. His appeal is obvious: long, sturdy frame, power-building upside, and enough athletic profile to project as a developmental tackle rather than a pure depth body. He also has a bit of a team-fit bonus—Kansas beat out multiple Group of Five programs for him, which suggests real belief in his ceiling. In short: he’s a classic ‘bet on the traits’ OL prospect.
