Experienced Manhattan guard with playmaking punch
Lupe Godinez brings a proven guard’s skill set to Manhattan, with a history of stuffing the box score as a scorer, passer, rebounder, and disruptor; in her Phoenix College season before transferring, she averaged 11.0 points, 6.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.2 steals per game[3]. That profile suggests a high-IQ, high-motor backcourt piece who can create for others and impact possessions on defense, which is exactly the kind of all-around guard coaches value when they need steady production and toughness[3].
