NFL Hall of Fame cornerback, not Tennessee Tech’s current DE
The available sources point to the famed former NFL defensive back Eric Allen, a 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee with 54 career interceptions and six Pro Bowls—not a current Tennessee Tech defensive end[2][3]. If you meant a different Eric Allen, I can re-run the search; for the Hall of Fame Eric Allen, the differentiator is elite ball production and playmaking instincts, which made him a high-impact, turnover-creating defender rather than just a coverage specialist[1][2].
