Stetson's ASUN All-Freshman Outfielder with Elite Power-Speed Blend
Foster Apple, Stetson's dynamic left fielder, is a proven differentiator who earned ASUN All-Freshman honors after batting .359 with a .855 OPS and 26 RBIs in the 2025 season, hitting 7 doubles and 1 triple while making 59 starts in 60 games [1][5]. His 6'1", 195lb frame combines raw power (80-grade bat in high school evaluations) with surprising speed, evidenced by a triple down the line in a 2026 matchup against South Florida [6][9]. As a 2024 high school recruit ranked 500th nationally by Perfect Game, Apple brings an intense, professional mindset and immediate versatility, playing both outfield and infield [8]. With no reported injury history and a track record of durability, he is an ideal fit for teams needing a high-intensity, two-way threat who can drive runs and cover ground defensively [5].
