Proven Alabama scorer who brought toughness and experience to Purdue
Hamby’s value was built on more than box-score numbers: she came into Purdue with a decorated Alabama prep résumé, including Gatorade Player of the Year honors, and at the college level showed steady, low-usage guard production with a defensive edge and dependable minutes off the bench. Her best fit is a team that wants a composed, competitive backcourt piece who understands winning habits, can handle role flexibility, and brings a high-intensity, experienced presence rather than star-volume scoring.
