Virginia’s vertical threat with proven MAC production
Da'Shawn Martin enters the 2026 season at Virginia as a junior transfer with a real résumé: in the 2025 season at Kent State, he posted 33 catches for 507 yards and 4 touchdowns, averaging 15.4 yards per reception. He looks like a fit if your team wants a receiver who can stretch the field, win on efficiency, and create chunk plays rather than just rack up empty targets. At 6-foot and 180 pounds, he brings compact, functional size and was polished enough to earn preseason all-conference recognition at Kent State. The big question is volume, not talent.
