Sedrick Altman brings veteran glue-guy value to Rider’s backcourt
Sedrick Altman is a steady, multi-year Rider guard whose value comes more from toughness and versatility than pure volume scoring: in the 2021-22 season he averaged 1.7 points and 2.3 rebounds in 31 games, while also flashing defensive activity with a season-high three steals in a win over Bucknell. His best fit is as a rugged, experienced rotation piece who can defend, rebound, and keep the offense organized without needing the ball a ton. If a team wants a low-drama, high-motor guard who does the dirty work, Altman fits the bill.
