Christi Shibata’s value is in experience and two-way steadiness for Kent State
Christi Shibata is best known as a dependable Kent State guard/forward who has contributed in meaningful moments and gives the Golden Flashes lineup flexibility; historical game notes show her scoring impact, including a 12-point outing against Boston College, while Kent State’s program records still reference her in specialty-stat history. The clearest appeal is fit: she looks like a versatile, team-first piece rather than a pure volume scorer, which can matter a lot if you want spacing, guard-forward coverage, and reliable rotation minutes from someone who understands how to play within a system.
