Versatile line veteran with starting experience for San José State
Deano Motes brings **positional versatility** and **game experience** to San José State, having played both offensive and defensive line and appeared in 16 games with eight starts in his first three seasons. That kind of flexibility can be valuable for depth, injury insurance, and matchup planning, especially in the trenches where reliability matters. The stat line does not scream star power, but the differentiator is trust: coaches have already leaned on him in multiple spots, which suggests a player with adaptability, toughness, and a team-first profile who can fit a program needing dependable line depth.[2]
