Derek Weston’s position is a moving target, but his value is trench flexibility
Derek Weston is listed in current team/roster data as an Eastern Washington football lineman, but the available public info is inconsistent on whether he’s on offense or defense, so treat him as a depth-piece with positional flexibility rather than a clean stat-line guy. The real sell here is body type, adaptability, and continuity in the trenches — the kind of player coaches like because he can plug multiple holes, especially on a line that values toughness and versatility. If your team wants a polished, high-floor lineman who can immediately compete for a role, Weston is worth a look; if you need a flashy headline recruit, he’s more blue-collar than billboard.
