ECU’s 6-foot-2 rebound-first forward with real upside
In the 2025-26 season, Zaniah Zellous appeared in every game for East Carolina, averaged 2.9 points and 3.0 rebounds, and led the Pirates in rebounding seven times—small sample offense, but loud hustle. Her best calling card is frontcourt size plus activity: she’s already shown she can crash the glass, defend physically, and give ECU solid minutes without needing the ball. She also flashed growth with a first career double-double and multiple double-digit rebounding games, which is a strong “future glue piece” signal for a team needing toughness and energy.
