David Grenia brings veteran size and versatile defensive upside to SIU's linebacker room
David Grenia is a 6'2", 224-pound Southern Illinois linebacker whose profile suggests a sturdy, mature fit for a defense that values physicality and versatility. He is a local St. Louis product with a notable football background at SIU, where the program’s record book also lists him as a former receiving standout, hinting at athleticism and ball skills beyond a typical linebacker build. The biggest reason to care: he looks like a high-floor, culture-friendly player who can add toughness, experience, and multi-phase athletic value to a roster.
