Senior guard providing versatile backcourt value for Northwestern State
McConathy is a 6-foot, senior guard who has shown he can create offense in short bursts, including an 11-point game and multiple assist-heavy outings, which makes him a useful connective piece rather than just a pure scorer.[5] The key reason to care: he brings experience, ball movement, and guard versatility to a Northwestern State team that has struggled overall this season, so his value is in stabilizing possessions and helping teammates get cleaner looks.[2][5] For a team fit, he profiles as a dependable rotational guard who can organize the offense and compete with maturity.[5]
