Alex Bland offers Oregon State a specialist who can flip field position
Alex Bland is a **punting specialist** for Oregon State, and his value comes from the kind of hidden-yardage impact that doesn’t always show up in box scores: consistent hang time, directional control, and the ability to help a defense start with better field position. I could not verify any widely published 2026 stat line or national ranking in the provided sources, so the safest read is that he profiles as a **role-value player** rather than a headline star—useful if you want reliability, discipline, and field-position leverage from the kicking game.
