Wake Forest WR Davis Johnson brings explosive versatility, but production remains limited
Davis Johnson is a 5-foot-11, 185-pound Wake Forest wide receiver from Alpharetta, Georgia, with a compact, quick-twitch profile that fits a space-creating role.[2] In Wake Forest’s roster notes, he has shown offensive versatility, including 15 catches for 360 yards and 7 touchdowns plus 6 carries for 120 yards and 2 rushing scores, which suggests he can be more than a straight-line receiver if used creatively.[1] The key question is volume: ESPN’s current stat line shows only 1 catch for 5 yards, so the tape-and-role context matters more than the box score right now.[3]
