Lily Oiler is Wisconsin Lutheran’s defensive tone-setter
In the 2025-26 season, sophomore guard Lily Oiler emerged as a glue player for Wisconsin Lutheran, earning NACC Defensive Player of the Year after being trusted to shadow opponents’ top guards and scorers. She finished the year with 66 points, 51 rebounds, 47 assists and 16 steals, and her impact was especially clear in the Warriors’ NCAA run and top-20 defense. At 5-foot-10, she brings size, versatility, and gritty on-ball pressure—exactly the kind of no-drama, high-IQ defender coaches love to plug into a winning system.
