Chase Nelson brings SEC-level size and versatile front-seven upside to Tennessee
Nelson is listed by Tennessee at 6-4, 292 and has the frame to hold up inside while still giving the Volunteers a disruptive interior presence.[5] His value is less about flashy counting stats and more about fit: a big-bodied defensive lineman with enough mass to anchor against the run and enough athletic profile to project as a physical, low-maintenance piece in a rotation.[3][5] If Tennessee wants toughness, leverage, and size up front, he looks like a solid scheme fit.
