Justin Smith brings young, local depth to Southeastern Louisiana's secondary
Justin Smith is a **6-foot, 185-pound sophomore DB** for Southeastern Louisiana who gives the Lions a homegrown Baton Rouge defender with upside and roster flexibility. [4] His value is less about headline-grabbing stats and more about profile: a bigger defensive back build, local familiarity, and the kind of developmental depth that can matter in a physical secondary. [4][3] He is a fit for a team that wants a young, coachable coverage piece who can grow into more responsibility rather than an instant stat-sheet star. [4]
