Steady OL Anchor with Proven Durability and Leadership
Jake Abbott, a battle-tested offensive lineman known for his relentless work ethic and football IQ, started all nine games at right guard for Case Western Reserve in the 2013 season, earning All-UAA First Team honors for the second straight year—highlighting his reliability in pass protection and run blocking. Transitioning from a tackling LB role at West Virginia (3 tackles across 3 seasons, peaking in 2020) and a dual-threat HS QB at Fairmont Senior (831 passing yards, 9 TDs in 2016-17), his versatility, academic excellence (Academic All-Big 12), and championship pedigree make him a coach's dream for teams needing a tough, intelligent protector with no injury red flags.
