Malik Scott brings steady DB size and homegrown upside to South Carolina State
Malik Scott is a 5'11", 180-pound junior defensive back from Columbia, S.C., giving South Carolina State a local, multi-year athlete with a solid frame for the secondary and familiar program fit[1]. Public roster and bio data identify him as a Bulldogs DB, but there isn’t enough verified 2025 game-stat detail available here to fairly claim a breakout; the real appeal is developmental upside, positional value, and the kind of hometown edge that can translate into reliable, assignment-sound play[1].
