Paul Mania brings veteran linebacker grit to Duquesne’s defense
Paul Mania profiles as a physical, high-effort linebacker whose value comes from toughness, pursuit, and special-teams mentality more than flash; Duquesne’s roster bio lists him as a first-team All-West Jersey defender who posted 72 tackles and 9.5 sacks as a senior in high school, which points to real backfield disruption and competitive edge. There is no reliable current-season college stat line in the provided sources, so the best read is that he fits teams wanting a dependable, hard-nosed linebacker with proven production and a blue-collar temperament rather than a pure highlight-reel playmaker.
