SFA Lumberjacks DB from Class of 2009 – Legacy Talent with Proven Recruiting Pedigree
Josh Hughey, a 6-0, 170-pound cornerback from Kirbyville High School (Class of 2009), signed with Stephen F. Austin in 2011, bringing elite high school speed and coverage skills to the Lumberjacks' secondary; his ESPN recruiting profile highlights differentiators like wiry athleticism and ball-hawking instincts ideal for FCS ball-hawking. No recent college stats available post-signing, but his profile suggests a high-motor defender perfect for teams needing agile, intense DBs who thrive in man coverage—care if you're building depth with battle-tested recruits who punch above their size.
