Local, physical Husker tight end with veteran value
Trey Foster is a Lincoln native and Nebraska walk-on tight end whose appeal is less about raw box-score production and more about dependable, team-first value at a demanding position[2][6]. Nebraska’s increased focus on tight ends and Foster’s senior urgency suggest he fits a program that wants steady practice habits, depth, and a player who understands the grind[8]. Based on available reporting, he looks like a low-drama, high-effort roster fit rather than a headline-grabbing stats producer[2][8].
