Experienced, High-Motor Kansas State Linebacker with Proven Big-12 Grit
Justin Hughes brings **experience, physicality, and steady production** to Kansas State’s linebacker room, with the Wildcats listing him at 25 career games and 15 starts and noting his 2020 Mayo Clinic Comeback Player of the Year watch-list recognition. He has shown he can handle bigger moments, including a six-tackle game against Texas that topped his previous career high and produced his first tackle for loss, which points to a player whose value goes beyond raw recruiting rankings. He is a good fit for a defense that wants toughness, persistence, and a reliable worker who can flash when the game speeds up.
