Boone Goldsmith brings classic quarterback size and proven high-school pedigree to Morehead State
Goldsmith is a 6-foot-4 pocket quarterback from Boyle County who arrived at Morehead State with all-state credentials and a reputation for leading a championship-caliber program; in his 2010 senior season, he passed for 1,544 yards and 14 touchdowns, and as a redshirt freshman in 2011 he flashed efficiency in limited action with 5-of-7 passing for 89 yards and two scores. He’s the kind of passer who matters if you value size, field vision, and a clean distribution game over flash — a good fit for a team that wants a steadier, developmental QB with upside, not a highlight-reel gunslinger.
