Preston Letts gives Rhode Island a veteran, ball-hawking linebacker presence
Preston Letts is a senior linebacker for Rhode Island who has shown production and playmaking upside, with career stats listing 2 interceptions and recognition tied to his takeaway ability. He profiles as a defensive glue guy: experienced, instinctive, and reliable enough to matter in coverage and in keeping a defense organized. For a team, the appeal is a mature linebacker with proven ball skills and a steady feel for the game rather than just raw flash.
