Waymon James was a compact, productive TCU workhorse with proven red-zone value
Waymon James carved out a strong TCU résumé as a compact, physical running back who finished his Horned Frogs career with 1,798 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns over five seasons, showing reliable inside toughness and short-yardage scoring punch.[3] His best stretches included leading TCU in rushing early in 2012 before a knee injury ended his season, so the main differentiator is upside tempered by durability history.[4][2] At 5'8" and 203 pounds, he fit the mold of a low-center-of-gravity, downhill runner who could handle contact and convert in tight spaces.[6][7]
