In the 2026 season, Deiondre Goldston has emerged as Winston-Salem State’s starting quarterback, showing poise and arm talent but still finding his rhythm in a new role. He completed 7 of 14 passes for 61 yards with 1 interception in the Sept. 5, 2026 loss to Mars Hill, and he brings a bigger frame at 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds that can help him absorb contact and extend plays.
