Veteran, versatile, and ball-hawking: Micah Harper brings real Griz secondary juice
In the 2025 season, Micah Harper started all 15 games for Montana and produced 45 tackles, 2 interceptions, 9 passes defended, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery, giving the Grizzlies a reliable, multi-phase safety who can cover, tackle, and make timely plays on the ball[2]. He was praised as a versatile “cover safety” who could move around the secondary, and his track record suggests a veteran fit for teams that value experience, flexibility, and a steady, physical presence over flash[2][3][8].
