Jared Turner brings depth and DB versatility to Savannah State
Jared Turner is listed on Savannah State’s 2026 football roster at defensive back, but publicly available season stats for him are limited, so the clearest signal is roster presence rather than a verified stat line. What stands out most is fit: a DB who earns a spot on a roster usually has to handle coverage, tackling, and special-teams value with consistency. If Savannah State is looking for a low-drama, role-ready defender who can compete in a physical SIAC environment, Turner looks like the kind of player worth keeping on the radar.
