Boise State DE Sam McCaskill: physical, high-motor edge presence with verified production
Sam McCaskill profiles as a tough, assignment-sound defensive end whose value comes from physicality, effort, and steady play rather than flashy numbers; Boise State listed him as an Oregon prep standout who led the state with 115 tackles as a senior and earned first-team all-Class 6A honors at DE and center, which points to uncommon versatility and competitive toughness. If you want a dependable fit who brings intensity, experience, and a blue-collar mentality to the edge, he looks like the kind of player coaches tend to trust.
