Lucas Eatman brings size, pedigree, and early-career flashes to Missouri State’s linebacker room
At Missouri State, Lucas Eatman is a 6-3, 230-pound linebacker with a veteran football pedigree and proven run support upside, including 23 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and a half-sack in the 2021 season plus 2022 game action. His calling cards are length, physicality, and instinctive play in the box, which fit a defense looking for a sturdy, tough-minded presence. The case for caring: he’s the kind of linebacker who can add depth, special-teams value, and developmental upside without needing the ball to find him every snap.
