Freshman righty with strikeout upside and room to grow
In the 2026 season, Delaware State freshman RHP Kaleb Scott has flashed a live arm, striking out 15 hitters while working primarily in relief, but his 10.45 ERA shows he’s still learning the college game.[7] His high school résumé hints at why coaches are intrigued: he earned second-team all-conference honors with a 2.27 ERA and 27 strikeouts, plus he contributed offensively with a .340 batting average.[4] If a team wants a developing power arm with upside, Scott is worth the look; if it wants immediate command polish, he’s still a project.
