Nicole Cancel is a steady Hofstra infield bat with gap power and reliable two-way value
Cancel’s 2026 profile is built on dependable infield defense, extra-base pop, and situational production: in 34 games she hit .250 with 17 hits, six doubles, a triple, nine RBIs, 12 runs, and a .901 fielding percentage while starting 30 times at second base. She also showed run-game value by going 2-for-2 in stolen-base attempts and earned academic recognition, which points to a disciplined, coachable player. The best fit is a team that wants a scrappy, versatile INF who can contribute without needing the offense built around her.[1][3]
