T.J. Buchanan brings steady point-guard value and Rhody experience
Buchanan is a seasoned Rhode Island guard whose value is built on steady decision-making, floor leadership, and reliable two-way habits rather than flash; ESPN lists him at 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 33 games with a 44.3% field-goal rate, which points to a rotation guard who can handle the ball, defend, and keep an offense organized. His differentiator is experience in the Rams’ program and a low-mistake, team-first profile that fits a coach seeking composure and structure.
