Southern RHP Michael Blaqman brings a sturdy 6-foot-1 frame and a clean profile, but 2026 production remains unreported
Michael Blaqman is a redshirt freshman right-hander for Southern in the 2026 season, listed at 6'1", 180 pounds, with a right-right profile and a psychology major at the university[1][3]. The most concrete takeaway is opportunity: Southern’s roster lists him, but the current 2026 page shows no available stats, so his value is still more about projection than production right now[1]. He stands out as a developmental arm with a solid starter’s build and a baseball family background, which usually hints at feel for the game and coachability[1].
