Ball State's Veteran TE Turned Student Coach
Madaris Grant, a 6-5 tight end from Cincinnati, wrapped up his Ball State playing career around 2010 with solid production like 39 receptions for 405 yards and 2 TDs in one season, plus a game-winning 1-yard TD catch vs. Miami (OH) in 2006. Known for reliability with career-high 5 catches for 92 yards against Eastern Michigan, he's now transitioned to student coach, bringing intense leadership and program loyalty—ideal for teams seeking a high-motor, under-the-radar blocker with coaching upside rather than current on-field flash.
