Amberly Brown brings two-way grit and interior hustle to MVSU
Amberly Brown is a reliable forward for Mississippi Valley State who stands out more for impact than flash: in the 2023-24 season, she led the Devilettes in blocked shots with 39 and averaged 6.1 rebounds per game, giving MVSU a physical, high-energy presence inside. She also showed she can swing games with defense and effort, including a season-high 13-point outing with six steals, four rebounds and two blocks in a 2024 win over Southern. If you want a blue-collar frontcourt piece who competes hard every possession, Brown is worth a close look.
