Sam Houston’s Nick Bruce: a steady, field-position punter with room to grow
Nick Bruce projects as a *field-position* punter for Sam Houston, with ESPN listing him at 4 punts for a 38.8-yard average, a 48-yard long, and 2 punts inside the 20 in the 2024 season[2]. His value is less about raw boom and more about reliability and placement, which can matter if your team wants cleaner hidden-yardage wins and a low-drama specialist who can help flip field position. Based on the available data, he looks like a depth/special-teams fit rather than a headline-grabbing elite leg[2][3].
