fast-rising, high-motor Notre Dame linebacker with impact-play upside
Ausberry is a junior Notre Dame linebacker whose current value comes from steady production, speed, and downhill toughness more than flash: he posted 51 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, and 1 forced fumble in the 2025 season after 56 tackles and 5.5 tackles for loss in 2024, with teammates and analysts noting his impact in run defense and rover-style usage. He stands out for acceleration, pursuit, and play recognition, and is the kind of fit that helps a defense get faster without sacrificing physicality.
