Jeff 'Big Deli' Salovski: UMass Freshman Big Man's Short-Lived 2004-05 Highlight Reel
Jeff Salovski, a 6'10" freshman center for the 2004-05 UMass Minutemen, flashed serious upside with a career-high 21 points (including 8 in crunch time) and key rebounds vs. Xavier, while averaging 2.9 PPG, 2.3 RPG in 9.5 MPG across all 28 games—his rebounding tenacity and shot-blocking (e.g., two in four minutes at Dayton) marked him as a high-motor backup with rim-protecting potential. But he abruptly left the program and withdrew from school in August 2005, ending his college career early; no activity since, so he's not a current or future fit for any team.
