BYU's Steady OL Anchor from JUCO Roots
Tim Duran, a 6-4, 290-pound offensive lineman for the BYU Cougars, brings proven trench warfare experience from Cabrillo College (class of 2015) and a solid 247Sports 2-star rating as a high school prospect from Aptos, CA. His differentiators include battle-tested JUCO grit, reliable pass protection, and run-blocking tenacity—ideal for teams needing a no-nonsense veteran who elevates the line's intensity without the spotlight. No major injury flags; he's a low-risk, high-floor fit for Power 5 programs seeking depth and leadership in the trenches.
