Rutgers veteran Muhammad Wainwright brings size, experience, and old-school edge
Muhammad Wainwright is a Rutgers defensive lineman listed at 6-4, 245 pounds and known more as a battle-tested depth piece than a headline-grabber; his Rutgers bio shows he played in eight games in 2018 and finished with four tackles, while recruiting/profile listings consistently note his length and lean frame for the position[1][2][3]. The appeal here is traits: he’s a local New Jersey product with versatile defensive-line experience, enough size to hold the edge, and the kind of no-drama, workmanlike profile that can fit a team needing maturity, toughness, and rotational flexibility[1][3][4].
